When an organization contacts us, we may collect the organization name and type, contact name, business email, telephone number, location, roles requested, number of professionals needed, workforce model, schedule, desired start date and other information included in the enquiry.

Candidate and recruitment information

When a candidate registers interest, we may collect the candidate’s name, email address, telephone number, city and state, position of interest, experience, availability, resume and information voluntarily included in the submission. SmartX8 does not request government-issued identification through the initial website registration form. If a candidate advances to formal onboarding, SmartX8 will explain which documents are required and how to submit them through an approved process.

Transportation-request information

When transportation availability is requested, we may collect the requesting organization or individual, contact details, passenger type, number of passengers, pickup address, destination, requested dates and times, return and recurring-schedule information, high-level mobility needs, whether the passenger can enter and exit a standard vehicle independently, and other transportation information voluntarily submitted. Do not submit medical records, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, insurance identification numbers or other unnecessary medical information through the form.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, referral source, timestamps and security logs. We use Plausible Analytics to measure aggregate website usage and conversion events without analytics cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, resumes, addresses, transportation details or form contents to Plausible.

Candidate registrations and resumes are generally retained for up to 24 months so that SmartX8 may consider the candidate for suitable opportunities, unless the candidate requests earlier deletion or a longer period is required by law or an active employment relationship. Routine technical and security logs are retained according to operational and security needs. SmartX8 may retain contracts, payroll, tax, compliance and legal records for the periods required by applicable law.

SmartX8 uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Applicants and transportation requesters should not submit government identification, Social Security numbers, banking information, medical records, diagnoses, insurance identification numbers or patient records through general website forms.

You may ask SmartX8 to update or delete information submitted through the website, subject to legal, contractual and record-retention requirements. You may also withdraw from future recruitment consideration. To make a request, contact [email protected] and include enough information for us to identify the relevant submission. SmartX8 may take reasonable steps to verify the request.

The website is intended for healthcare organizations and adults seeking professional opportunities or requesting services. It is not directed to children under 16, and SmartX8 does not knowingly collect information from children through the website.
